Detox Food

As well as being a great source of B vitamins, brown rice is a powerful detox food and is good when detoxing as it works as a kind of “pipe cleaner”. It travels through the gut absorbing waste and then flushing it out at the other end – so it’s good for a colon detox as well.

Try to choose short grain rice for the best cleansing properties.
