Detox Program Tips – Be positive

Once you have named the day to start your detox program, you can start to prepare your friends. There is something very tempting about trying to break down someone’s new resolve, ruin their good intentions or persuade them that they couldn’t possibly achieve their new goals. Your own human nature will be addressed in the detox program but you also need to prepare for everybody else’s.

When you explain the detox program to friends, don’t tell them how different it is from normal and how time-consuming it is to get everything done. Instead, tell them how many positive changes you have made and how you are doing much more every day due to your increased energy levels and your enthusiastic state of mind.

Enjoying the program and letting your friends know just how great you are feeling and how positively you are thinking will get them curious and supportive from the moment you start.

Think of the detox program as you own personal month at a health farm. You should enjoy each and every day of the program. Don’t always think about how long you have to go but think about how much you have already done and how good you are feeling. Most people have now heard of the principle of detoxing but many still don’t know what it is or aren’t prepared to make the changes to their own life. When you tell people what you are doing they will be very interested.

You may even find that you enroll a fellow detox mate so that you have a friend to call on when you want to compare menu ideas or discuss where to get a good facial.
